Amenza

This work was created with the intention of being a poster for a concert featuring two bands of my friends, Yora Yora and NCC. They told me they wanted a visual image that only I could create, something with a strong visual impact. When I made it, I was going through a terrible time with myself: I couldn't get out of my own head, and I constantly judged everything I did, labeling it as wrong.

In this scene, I wanted to represent two of my fears: the fear of water, which also appears in "Impara a Nuotare" from 2019, and my deep claustrophobia in confined spaces. The character is now overwhelmed; the solution to her problem is right above her, but in the mental state she's in, she will never try to escape from his own mind. She only hopes that on the date above those doors will open.
