Natura, Morta

"Natura, Morta" is a contemporary still life. The fruit is protected by the classic, useless plastic wrap you find at the supermarket. The decorative plant, a typical element of traditional still lifes, is actually a plastic plant from IKEA.

The title plays on the Italian term for still life (natura morta), but with a comma. In English, it would literally be "Nature, Death."
