Vain Grind*
micc prototype - 2025
The silhouette of a veiled woman on the tail is the starting point: the more the deck wears down, the more the veil frays. But beware, this wear isn’t innocent.
It’s a metaphor for that subtle yet brutal violence of those who feel entitled to “free you” from who you are, as if removing a veil were some kind of victory.
The question is simple: who the hell are we to decide that someone has to take off a veil to “find themselves”? Identity isn’t stripped away with quick judgments or rushed moves. This board challenges you to stop judging so fast, to pause at the surface and realize that scratching isn’t enough to truly see.
